Jeffery & Joanne Portmann

Jeffery and Joanne Portmann exist to present hope and develop people. They started as high school sweethearts and have been married and in ministry for over 20 years. They believe relationships are the foundation of life and that our ability to develop healthy relationships will determine the quality of our lives, ministries, and organizations.

Jeffery and Joanne’s passion is to help every generation find hope in Christ, develop as leaders, and maximize their organization’s impact. This vision has been lived out through speaking at conferences, leadership events, churches and coaching individuals and organizations across the country. This is what they mean by presenting hope and developing people.

Jeffery and Joanne have a passion for life-long learning:

Jeffery has an earned Doctor of Ministry Degree from Evangel University\AGTS, with an emphasis in Leadership. He loves sports, coffee, and his Polynesian beauty.

Joanne has a Masters of Education, with an emphasis in Special Needs. She was born in Hawaii and she loves being one with the beach, a book, and her best friend and love Jeffery. They both love to travel.

Their love for the local church lead them to plant newhope (with an awesome team) April of 2014. Newhope is a multi-site church with a vision of planting five churches in five years. To see newhope in action go to newhopech.com

They have two sons – Justus and Josiah – who bring much laughter and great joy to their lives. 

They live in Puyallup, WA, outside of Seattle.
